Dr. Vredenburg


Dr Lauren Vredenburg earned her DMD degree from McGill University's Faculty of Dentistry in Montreal followed by a post-graduate residency program in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) at the University of California - Los Angeles (UCLA) affiliated with the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center. Prior to dental school she completed a degree in kinesiology from the University of British Columbia (UBC) in Vancouver.

Dr Vredenburg regularly attends advanced dental education courses in Calgary as well as throughout North America in order to provide her patients with the excellent comprehensive dental care. Dr Vredenburg has done volunteer dentistry in Guatemala with Kindness in Action, in Montreal with the McGill Outreach Dental Clinics program and in Los Angeles with the UCLA Give Kids a Smile program. In Montreal she organized the Outreach Dental Clinics Fun Run to raise money for the outreach program and was featured on CBC Radio for it.

Dr Vredenburg and her husband Phil, Director of User Experience at Blackline Safety, spend much of their free time in the Rocky Mountain backcountry either backpacking in the summer or ski-touring in the winter. 

Dr. Maguire opened, Calgary Fine Dentistry, in May of 2006 in order to realize her personal vision of providing the highest level of comprehensive oral health care. January 2018 the practice ownership was transitioned to her daughter Dr. Vredenburg. Dr. Lauren Vredenburg, Dr. Jennifer Maguire and Dr. Christine Lilge are supported by a team consisting of   Eunice, Val and Karen - Registered Dental Hygienists, Vesna, Jenn & Jess- Registered Dental Assistant, Carmen & Maggie - Patient Coordinators and Sue - Office Manager. 

Dr. Maguire


Dr. Jennifer Maguire earned her DDS degree from the University of Western Ontario's Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry. She has practiced dentistry continuously for over 25 years and regularly attends advanced dental education courses throughout North America.She has done volunteer dentistry in Guatemala and Nicaragua with Kindness in Action and has also served on the Executive Board of the Calgary & District Dental Society. Dr. Maguire spent her childhood in South Africa before moving to Canada with her parents and siblings. She has lived in Ontario, Quebec and British Columbia and has settled in Alberta with her husband, Dr. Harrie Vredenburg, a business professor at the University of Calgary. They have three daughters. Jennifer is an avid runner, swimmer, cyclist, skier and kayaker and regularly practices yoga.

Dr. Lilge


Dr. Christine Lilge graduated with her DDS degree from the University of Alberta's School of Dentistry and has practiced general dentistry in Calgary for more than 20 years. She has done volunteer dentistry at the CUPS downtown clinic. Originally from Edmonton, Dr. Lilge moved to Calgary after graduation. She is married and has a son. She has been active as a leader with the La Leche League, a mother-to-mother breast feeding support organization. Christine is an avid runner and mountain biker.
