Our Team
Meet Dr. Vredenburg
Dr. Vredenburg earned her DMD degree from McGill University's Faculty of Dentistry in Montreal followed by a post-graduate residency program in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) at the University of California - Los Angeles (UCLA). Prior to dental school she completed a degree in kinesiology from the University of British Columbia (UBC) in Vancouver.
Committed to advanced continuing education, she attends lectures throughout North America in to provide her patients with the excellent comprehensive dental care with particular interest in occlusion and temporomandibular joint disorder.
Dr. Vredenburg is an active member of the Canadian Dental Association, Alberta Dental Association, Calgary and District Dental Association, LD Pankey Alumni Association and Calgary Prosthodontic Seminars.

Having lived in Calgary since she was 2, Dr. Vredenburg is an avid runner, skier and cyclist. She has run marathons in Alberta and British Columbia, cycled a 100 mile race and canoed the Mackenzie river to the Arctic Ocean. She can often be found with her husband and two small children camping, hiking or skiing in the Rocky Mountains.

Sue
Practice Manager
Sue joined the team at Calgary Fine Dentistry in 2018 after being a patient of the practice for more than ten years! Sue brings over 30 years of dental field experience to the table making her knowledge and expertise such an asset to our practice. When it comes to navigating the city, Sue's your go-to person. She knows the best restaurants and pubs in town, and you can often find her cheering on the Stampeders with her friends. But what truly sets Sue apart is her love for our relationships with our patients. When you visit our office, you're not just another patient, you are part of the Calgary Fine Dentistry Family community, and Sue is there to make you feel right at home. When she’s not at work, Sue spends her time with her husband and two adult children, making every day a new adventure.
Michelle
Office Administrator
Although originally from Penticton, Michelle made her way east and settled in Airdrie, where she resides with her husband, two kids, and a lively bunch of pets. She graduated from dental assisting in 2019, and soon after joined the Calgary Fine Dentistry team and serves as our dental administrator. When Michelle is not at the office you can find her working on home improvement projects or back in the Okanagan enjoying the glorious weather.
Carter
Dental Assistant
Originally from Toronto, Carter ventured westward and eventually landed in Alberta, where she is lucky to have her sister and nephews close by. She got a taste of the dental field first while working at an office in Canmore and decided to pursue a career in dental assisting. Calgary has become Carter's home, where she has fallen in love with our beautiful backyard. As the seasons change, so does Carter's choice of footwear – from hiking boots to skis, she's always ready to embrace the great outdoors.
Jess
Dental Assistant
Jess is originally from a small town in Quebec and relocated to Alberta in 2005 with her family. She's been part of our dental team since graduating from SAIT in 2017. Jess is not your average dental assistant—she’s got many secret talents! She is the office music aficionado, social media guru and keeps all of our plants alive. Outside of work, she's an avid reader and the proud caretaker of more than 40 houseplants, earning her the title of the "Plant Mom" in our office. Plus, with a little encouragement from Dr. V, she's now a runner too!
Lori
Dental Hygienest
Originally from Winnipeg, Lori's journey in dental hygiene began back in the late '80s when she graduated from University of Manitoba in Winnipeg. After graduation, she travelled west and settled in Calgary where she raised two sons. In the 90's, Lori had the pleasure of working at DQS dental care with Dr. Maguire (founder of Calgary Fine Dentistry and Dr. V's mother), and even cleaned Dr. V's teeth for several years when she was a child (thank you Lori for ensuring Dr.V’s career in Dentistry). She often comes across patients in our practice that she had seen back in the day at DQS! When she’s not working, you'll find Lori exploring in the mountains, curled up with a good book, or on a plane back to Winnipeg to spend time with family.
Joni
Dental Hygienest
Originally from Grande Prairie, Joni spent her childhood riding horses. She graduated as a dental assistant from SAIT in 2016 Dentistry, but ultimately decided to go back to school to pursue dental hygiene, studying in Toronto and rejoined our team as a hygienist! Joni, along with her partner, now live on an acreage northwest of Calgary. They have big plans for their growing farm, including bringing Joni's beloved horses down from Grande Prairie to join their new adventure.
Kim
Dental Hygienest
Kim hails from New Brunswick and graduated in dental hygiene from Dalhousie University back in 1997. She has been a dedicated member of our team at Calgary Fine Dentistry since 2021. Life outside of work keeps Kim very busy thanks to her two junior high-school children who are involved in a multitude of sports. When she's not busy as taxi driver, coach or cheerleader, you can catch Kim giving her all at Orange Theory.
